1. ORDER PICK-UP AND DELIVERY
PICK-UP: Your order must be picked up in its original packaging within 15 days of receipt by Mikaza Home. A storage fee of 5$/day will apply after 15 days. PICK-UP LOCATION: All pick-ups are at 1719B St-Laurent, Ottawa, ON, K1G3V4 during regular store hours.
2. DELIVERY and ASSEMBLY: Local (Ottawa/Hull, or Montreal/Laval and surrounding areas) delivery is $99-199 per order, depending on zone (see in-store). Delivery includes placement of packages in your room of choice. Assembly of furniture and removal of waste is also offered at 50$. Please take note we do not: assemble or install lighting products, affix furniture and mirrors to walls, assemble furniture from other suppliers. If arranged ahead of time, we are happy to pick-up your old furniture for a nominal fee, and donate to a local charity.
3. ORDER LEAD TIME: We order your furniture within 3 business days of purchase and normal arrival lead time varies from 1 to 6 weeks (8-16 weeks for custom upholstery). In special cases, such as custom orders, or if a greater delay is expected, our staff will make best efforts to advise you as soon as possible. Rush delivery requests can not be guaranteed.
4. RETURN POLICY/WARRANTEE
All returns or damage claims must be made in writing or in person within 3 business days of receipt of goods. Please inspect your goods upon receipt.
Defects: All our products are backed by a full 1 year warrantee on manufacturing defects. Glass items only guaranteed until time of delivery/pick-up. Additional warrantees may be available, as applicable. All G. Romano sofas are guaranteed for life on frame and suspension. Damages: For damages during shipping, we will repair or replace the piece(s) at our sole discretion. A photo may be required. All repair work must be brought to Mikaza Home by the customer. For all other returns: Within 3 days of receiving your order, you may return your purchase for 100% store credit, minus delivery charges and a 15% restocking fee based on the regular price of the returned item(s). All returned items must be in their original packaging. No returns on custom orders, liquidation and final sale items. No refunds in any cases. All returns or damage claims must be made in writing or in person within 3 business days of receipt of goods. Please inspect your goods upon receipt.
5. NATURAL PRODUCTS
As many of our products are made of natural sources such as wood, marble and cowhide, there are variations which occur naturally and do not affect the quality or function of the products. We consider these part of the beauty of dealing with natural products. However, should the variations affect the use, durability or safety of the product, it will be replaced. Examples of variations which do not affect quality include, but are not limited to minor knots in wood, micro-fissures in marble, colour patterns in our cowhide products and lot to lot dye variations in leather and wood products.
Prices are subject to change without notice, unless your order has been processed. Every effort is made to maintain accuracy of our prices online versus in store. In case of a discrepancy, in-store price takes priority.
7. ORDER CHANGES/CANCELLATION
In general, your order may be cancelled or modified within 48hrs of confirmation without incurring cancellation fees; otherwise a 20% restocking fee will apply.
